19th Pet Fair Asia

There’s no exaggeration to describe the 19th Pet Fair Asia with unprecedented. The pavilion is crowded with visitors in less than 3 hours from the beginning. I also took part in the exhibition as a professional audience days ago.

First of all, briefly introduce Pet Fair Asia, it is the only trade show which is certified by UFI (Global association of exhibition), it has been held for the 19th time from started in Hong Kong in 1997. Hundreds of exhibitors and tens of thousands of brands of pet supplies around the world took part in the exhibition this year. Most of these exhibitors are pet products manufacturers and international brand agents. You can find all the products here for your pets, such as pet foods, pet toys, pet clothes and pet beds. It is to be observed that exhibition area is larger because added an exhibition hall, it also confirms the growth of the pet industry.

The biggest spot of exhibition is that these cute animals, range from golden retrievers to cute hamsters. You can always find the animal you like, even buy one at the exhibition.

Have to remind you pet parents be careful with your pets in summer because of the hot weather.

As the pet industry practitioners, I paid more attention to the pet toy. I have found a lot of interesting pet toys even if few pet toy exhibitors took part in the exhibition.

You can find all kinds of pet toys here, cat trees, pet beds, dog chews and so on. Many Christmas pet toys on display because Christmas is only 4 months away. 

As an important part of pet toys and big items, cat tree is sure to be key item on display and I have find the booth which was filled with cat trees. The material of cat trees mainly are paper tubes, sisal, wood and plush. Actually you can combine them into any shape if you have brought enough accessories. Cat trees with high durability are suitable for cats to sharpen their claws that your sofa and carpet are avoid damage from claws.

Of course you can take some other toys if your cat already has a cat tree. An interactive toy maybe the best choice for you, feather teaser, catnip teaser, plush teaser, there is always a right for it. Not all cats like to play with their parents, thus a ball toy or mouse toy will come in handy.

Japan The Cat’s Day 22nd Feb



Cats are noble and sacred in Japan. So it’s not a surprise that the cat’s day was set up. A wide variety of activities of cats will be held in the annual February 22.

This holiday originated in the late 1980s when Japan’s economic is in decline and the rich man abandoned their pets. It’s become a serious social problem that stray cats and dogs propagate in a rapid way. Some caring people came up with an idea that set up a festival to call on people to be kind to animals.

In this festival, people all over Japan will hold many kinds of activities to celebrate. For example, they will hold a photographic exhibition of their favorite photos of cats.

There was a mayor wearing a cat coat to interact with the masses in order to win votes, sounds very interesting and easygoing.

Belgium Kattenstoet



May 10, 2015, the 44th "throwing the cat's Day" was held in Ypres which is the ancient town of the western Belgian. In that day, more than 50,000 visitors from around the world were attracted together to celebrate the holiday. Streets are full of posters of cats. Costume parade is usually started at 15 o’clock. The parades lined with square, tell about the cat's history, traditions and stories by performance and models. Many young girls dressed up as cat.


The biggest bright spot of the festival is watching throwing the cat, actually it’s not a real cat. After the parade, a clown who dressed in red and white will throw a black plush toy cat from the platform of the tower.

Italy National Cat Day 17th February

The national cat day of Rome is annual February 17. It was set up because of the local people’s love for cats. According to the survey, the number of cats in Rome currently has more than 300,000.

In Rome, you can find cat everywhere. Historically, cats always remind people of magic, sounds amazing.

Now, cats have become the symbol of Rome and Rome citizens.
