Be wary of five common pet diseases in the winter

Winter is coming to the Northern Hemisphere and it is time to be careful with your pet. This cold weather is very easy to exacerbate the breeding of bacteria. Let’s learn some ways to prevent pet diseases.

1. Viral enteritis and distemper
Viral enteritis, minute virus and distemper are mainly transmitted from other dogs, especially from sick dogs. 3. Cystitis
There is a high possibility that your cat will catch cystitis in cold winter. A cat toilet should be prepared for your cat to create a clean environment. At the same time, let it stay in the warm house and avoid your cat from running around outside. You can give it some interesting pet toys to kill the boring time. Moreover, interactive cat toys such as cat teasers would warm you and your cat.

4. Influenza virus
Your pets will be easier to catch Influenza virus when the weather becomes cold. Cold virus will spread with the air. So, open your windows and keep fresh air.

5. Skin diseases
Pet skin problems are always caused by four factors: ticks, food, air and disinfectant liquid. Tick is a common skin disease, can make the skin fester. Safe disinfection products should be used to instead of bad disinfection to destroy the dog tick. Remember not always give your pet a bath because they need grease to protect their skin.
